The Bridging platform can use a foldable platform to bridge the gap over a small landing on a set of dog leg straight stairs. So rather than pay several thousand pounds for a curved stairlift to fit the stairs a straight stairlift can be fitted with the bridging platform enabling the stairlift user to turn the corner at the top. This is far less money than a curved lift.
