BANKS ARE A NIGHTMARE… BUT THERE ARE WORSE PLACES FOR YOUR MONEY

The launch of a bed from a Wessex Sussex upmarket manufacturer WITH A BUILT IN SAFE is a frightening thought.

The firm obviously know its market but cash stored at home is never on – and the presence of a safe - no matter how discreet, advertises the fact that it’s there.

A home safe can be stolen or simply the owners can be made to produce the key or code by whatever force is necessary. If a few criminals learn about just one more typical hiding place the whole ‘industry’ will know. Once inside a home drug-crazed attackers don’t give in.

Many people, especially older folk hoard money at home. Recently when Castle Comfort Stairlifts went to collect the payment from a “I’m cash only – don’t believe in banks” Mr ‘X’ in Stafford, they were horrified what they saw.

The ingenious guy had Velcrod his envelope full of life savings to the underside of the stairlift seat and even worse was planning to unscrew the motor cover to provide a new permanent hiding place. He has now been persuaded otherwise.
